Who runs this site
Clean Nutra owns and operates this site and sells the products reviewed on it.
Where reviews come from
Reviews are submitted by customers through Judge.me, the review platform on cleannutra.com, including post-purchase review emails and the Shop app. Reviews marked "Verified purchase" are tied to an order by Judge.me. We don't write, edit for meaning, buy, or generate reviews, and we don't reward customers for positive ones.
How ratings are calculated
Each product's star rating is the plain average of every published review for that product, from 1 to 5 stars. Where a product is sold under more than one listing (for example a "buy one get one" offer), reviews from all its listings are combined. Across the site that's 3,929 reviews averaging 3.66.
How the headline rating is calculated
The rating at the top of each product page combines every published review on cleannutra.com with every TikTok Shop rating for that product, weighted by the number of ratings from each. The star graphic is rounded to the nearest half star; the number next to it is the exact average.
TikTok Shop ratings
Many of our products are also sold on TikTok Shop, where buyers leave ratings on TikTok. Where a product page shows a TikTok Shop rating, it's TikTok's own average and rating count for that product listing (including its buy-one-get-one listing where one exists), as recorded on the date shown. We don't select or filter TikTok ratings. The "across cleannutra.com and TikTok Shop" figure is the average of both, weighted by the number of ratings on each. TikTok review text stays on TikTok; follow the link on each page to read it.
Which reviews aren't displayed
We display negative reviews, including reports of side effects. We don't display a review when it:
- is spam, contains links, or contains someone's contact details;
- credits a product with treating, curing, or replacing medication for a disease. Dietary supplements aren't approved to make those claims, so we can't publish them as endorsements, whatever we think of the experience.
